The Social Science Department at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Mehta Vidyalaya is a branch of academic study or science that deals with human behaviour in its social and cultural aspects. Usually included within the social sciences are cultural (or social) Psychology, Political science, History, Geography, Legal Studies, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy. The team of teachers and students has actively involved and participated in various activities like annual release of Magazine for subject Legal Studies (The Legis), Economics (Mudra) and History (E souvenir on World Heritage day) aimed at Inculcating social values, personal values, democratic values, constitutional values, to make responsible citizenship, Develop awareness of national integration and international understanding.
