CAREER FAIR 2023
 
 
School organised Career Fair for students and Parents of Classes XI & XII on 11th October'2023 in the school campus. More than 22 prestigious universities namely Thapar, UPES, Ashoka , Manipal  , OP Jindal, MIT, Amity, Pearl Academy, UDI etc visited the campus and guided students about their programmes, scholarships and admission process. Students of Modern School Barakhamba, Guru Harikrishan Public School Kerala School and Lady Irwin School  also visited the Career fair .
 
Parents appreciated the efforts of the School and requested to have more such programmes in the future.
 
 
MENTAL HEALTH WEEK
 
School gives utmost importance to mental well-being of students. Therefore, School observed Mental Health Awareness programme on 9 - 10 October, 2023 on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. Various sessions related to Mental Health like Anger & Stress Management,Peer Pressure, bullying , Adolescence issues etc were organized for Classes VI to X. Poster Making activity on the topic - " My School is a Anger Free Zone" was planned for classes VI to VIII. Students of Psychology Department also presented Assembly on the theme - Anger Management and "Importance of Healthy Mind" for students of classes IX and XI.They also prepared and displayed Meaningful Paintings on the topic.
 

Session on Good Touch and Bad Touch /Safe and Unsafe touch

                         

An Interactive Session for students on Good Touch and Bad Touch was taken by School Counselor along with Class teachers.

The sessions began with an animated video ‘KOMAL’ to teach students how to identify the ‘No Touch’ areas and clearly communicate with parents about any bad experience. The animated video also highlighted how to handle a bad touch by shouting ‘NO’, running away from the person and informing a safe adult about the same immediately.  It was followed by a PPT presentation helping children understand difference between good touch and bad touch. The sessions also suggested Safety tips to be followed by students in day to day life.
