As a part of the International Cultural Exchange Programme students of the senior wing of school Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya went to the hotel Lalit, Barakhamba Road for Japan education fair on 4th August 2014. The students were accompanied by Mrs.Aradhana Gambhir. Various other schools had also come to attend the informative fair. Very well known universities that took part in the fair included - Hokkaido University, Keio University, University of Tokyo, Kyushu University, Osaka University, Ritsumeikan University, Shizuoka University, Tohoku University and many more
People from Japan were also there, wearing their national outfit, Kimono portraying their vivid and rich culture. Many activities took place that included a quiz about Japan, tutorials on how to make origami. There were book stalls and Japanese flowers put up. Indeed it was a very interesting, and enriching experience for us. We all enjoyed the famous Tea Ceremony of Japan where tea was served with some Japanese delicacies.
