PROJECT-LEARNING BY DOING Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans Mehta Vidyalaya leaves no stone unturned to ensure wholistic devolopment of the students personality. Keeping this in mind various activities and projects are organised time to time that give hands on knowledge and enable experiential learning among students. One such project conducted recently was The State Pavilion Competition organised by the Social Science Department for class VIII students on Thursday the 23rd August 2018at the school premises. Students were asked to research and find out about the heritage, culture, art and architecture of various states of India and make state wise pavilions to represent the vivid culture of India. Each group was allocated a State pavilion where the students made artefacts.,models of famous monuments and great personalities of that state. Students made delicacies of the state allocated to them and also presented traditional dance and music. Manager Dr C.K Arya, Principal Dr Anju Tandon, Vice Principal Mrs Vibha Kohli and Headmistress Mrs Sashi Bhargava highly appreciated the creativity and the efforts made by the students. This project enabled the students to know about the diverse culture of India and instilled a sense of pride in our heritage. The event was coordinated by Mrs Saumya Marwah and Mrs Jyoti Verma under the guidance of Mrs Jagriti Sharma (Head of Department of Social Science).
